Join us for a special Benefit Dress Rehearsal for National Dance Institute's 2023 Event of the Year: Rise.
A poet, a performer, an activist, a storyteller, Dr. Maya Angelou's life was nothing short of extraordinary. This year, through dance and live music, over 6,000 children participating in National Dance Institute's programs are being introduced to and empowered by the words of "the people's poet." NDI's 2023 Event of the Year: Rise will bring together talented dancers from New York City public schools in a vibrant performance inspired by this amazing artist.
